Machine Guarding 
PCE design safety interlocking systems to AS4024 Category 1,2,3 & 4 for machine guarding and perimeter access control applications.

A risk assessment is conducted to determine the required category of safety system required which is then implemented using safety PLCs, safety relays and interlocking switches and isolation equipment.

Mechanical Interlocks
PCE design mechanical interlocking systems required for the safe operation of electrical switchgear and associated equipment. Mechanical key interlocking using Castel, Fortress, Roniss or ProSafe systems are combined with suitable levers and latches to provide the required interlocks and operation.

PCE have designed interlocking systems for switchyards, high and low voltage switchgear, ring main units and earthing systems to name a few for applications ranging from power generating plants to industry.
